En Uyirinum Melana is yet another love story with the familiar theme of opposition from parents. The movie brings in two new faces, Ajith Chander and Radhika Menon in the lead roles.
SPB is a wealthy businessman and Jeeva (Ajith Chander) is his pampered son. While camping at Kodaikanal with his freinds, Jeeva meets Priya (Radhika Menon) and falls in love with her.
Priya's family comes to Chennai. Priya's father, a CBI officer, comes to know about the love relationship between Ajith and Priya and opposes it. He decides to fix her wedding with a Londoner Renjith and carries out the engagement.
After this point, the movie takes the familiar path of the strength of love and the efforts of the love-struck couple to meet against all odds, to succeed in the face of all opposition.
SPB has given his best to his character. Ajith Chander and Radhika Menon have to attain more polish.
